EU Sanctions Helpdesk webinar: Session 3 - Targets and Lists

This training session (the third of four) focuses on the different targets of sanctions – people, companies and activities.  

You will learn about key sanctions lists within the EU, and the impact of third country sanctions in the EU. We will also explore the differences between directly and indirectly sanctioned persons and why companies and other entities not on EU sanctions lists may still be subject to EU sanctions. We will use practical case studies and host a Q&A session.  

This information will be relevant to all, but is essential knowledge for anybody doing business with a country subject to sanctions.

3. Sanctions lists
4. Extra-territoriality – impact of 3^rd country sanctions in EU  
5. Directly and indirectly sanctioned persons
6. Ownership and control of an entity by a sanctioned person

Please note that this webinar series will be similar to the previous four-part series hosted by the EU Sanctions Helpdesk in May-June 2025. If you attended those sessions, it may be repetitive.

• the training materials,

If you have already registered but are no longer able to attend, you do not need to cancel your registration – simply do not connect on the day. This will free up space for other participants who wish to join the live session.
