This training session (the second of four) will provide an overview of the legal framework governing sanctions, guidance provided by the European Commission and the role of EU Member States in implementing and enforcing sanctions.
Please note that this webinar series will be very similar to the previous four-part series hosted by the EU Sanctions Helpdesk in May-June 2025. If you attended those sessions, it may be repetitive.
We will also talk you through sanctions exceptions, and introduce attendees to the anonymous sanctions whistleblower tool, managed by the European Commission. The session provides practical guidance, ending with a Q&A.
This webinar will be particularly useful to those who may have potential exposure to sanctions parties or who want to know more about the legal basis of EU restrictive measures.
