EU Sanctions Due Diligence in Practice Webinar: Module 3 - High-Risk Countries and Circumvention

Building on the Introductory Training Series delivered in March 2026, this brand-new series of bite-sized sessions is designed for anyone looking to develop an intermediate-level understanding of sanctions due diligence in practice.

  • Training and workshops

Drawing on real-life examples, this series is intended for participants who already have a basic grounding in EU sanctions but want to strengthen their practical skills. Delivered as 45-minute live modules, the sessions focus on the four ‘Keys to Compliance’: Who, What, Where, and What for.

Module 3: High-Risk Countries and Circumvention

This session supports participants in identifying geographical risk indicators, recognising circumvention routes, and applying practical checks to detect diversion of goods or services to prohibited destinations or users.

We will cover:

  • Overview of circumvention
  • High-risk countries and trade routes
  • Destination and route screening
  • Circumvention red flags
  • Practical tools

There will be time for questions at the end.
