EU Sanctions Due Diligence in Practice Webinar: Module 1 - Counterparty Due Diligence

Building on the Introductory Training Series delivered in March 2026, this brand-new series of bite-sized sessions is designed for anyone looking to develop an intermediate-level understanding of sanctions due diligence in practice.

  • Training and workshops

Drawing on real-life examples, this series is intended for participants who already have a basic grounding in EU sanctions but want to strengthen their practical skills. Delivered as 45-minute live modules, the sessions focus on the four ‘Keys to Compliance’: Who, What, Where, and What for.

Module 1: Counterparty Due Diligence

This session equips participants to identify, screen, and assess counterparties for sanctions exposure using practical tools, examples, and decision-making frameworks.

We will cover:

  • Identifying the counterparty: who are you really dealing with?
  • What to screen
  • How to screen
  • Interpreting screening results

There will be time for questions at the end.
